Make Seaquell House Your Home Away From Home
Couples Seeking Treatment
Couples struggling with substance abuse often face a complex interplay of challenges that can strain their relationship and hinder their recovery efforts. The pressures and conflicts arising from addiction can lead to a cycle of blame, mistrust, and emotional distance, complicating the path to recovery for both partners. Substance abuse may exacerbate existing relational issues or create new ones, such as financial stress, communication breakdowns, and conflicts over priorities. This dynamic can lead to a negative feedback loop where the relationship issues fuel the addiction, and the addiction further deteriorates the relationship. Addressing these intertwined issues through couples therapy and comprehensive treatment is essential, as it allows both partners to work on their substance abuse while also focusing on rebuilding their connection and developing healthier coping strategies. By tackling both the addiction and the relational problems simultaneously, couples can achieve a more holistic and sustainable recovery.

What We Offer
Why Seek Treatment
Couples Counseling
Relationship counseling during substance abuse treatment offers crucial benefits by addressing the relational dynamics that often contribute to or are affected by addiction. This counseling helps individuals and their partners explore underlying issues such as communication problems, trust deficits, and emotional conflicts that can exacerbate substance use. By working through these issues with a trained therapist, individuals can gain insight into how their addiction impacts their relationships and learn healthier ways to interact and support each other. Relationship counseling fosters mutual understanding and empathy, which are essential for rebuilding trust and strengthening bonds. Additionally, it equips both partners with tools to navigate challenges together, promoting a supportive environment that can significantly enhance the effectiveness of the recovery process and contribute to a more stable, resilient relationship moving forward.
Medical Treatment
Medications are accessible to alleviate the discomfort of detox and deter alcohol cravings, available in oral or injectable forms. Medical interventions are also accessible to address additional health issues linked to addiction.
Throughout Treatment
Healthcare providers vigilantly oversee the administration of medications during addiction treatment. Vivitrol, an injectable medication, helps prevent relapse by inhibiting the release of dopamine thereby reducing cravings and the urge to use. It is commonly used post-detox during the stabilization phase.
Lifeskills Courses
A life skills course offers significant benefits for couples seeking treatment from substance abuse by equipping them with practical tools and strategies essential for rebuilding their lives and relationships. These courses often cover areas such as effective communication, financial management, stress reduction, and problem-solving, all of which are crucial for managing the challenges that arise during recovery. By learning and applying these skills, couples can improve their interactions, handle conflicts more constructively, and make informed decisions that support their sobriety and overall well-being. Additionally, life skills courses help couples develop a sense of autonomy and confidence, empowering them to navigate the complexities of daily life and recovery more effectively. This holistic approach not only aids in overcoming substance abuse but also fosters a healthier, more resilient partnership.
Outpatient Treatment
Some patients opt to continue outpatient treatment following an inpatient stay, while others may begin their recovery journey directly through outpatient rehab. Engaging in outpatient treatment programs allows individuals to remain at home while receiving therapy for their addiction.
This approach ensures that individuals receive comprehensive support while maintaining their daily routines and responsibilities.
Addiction treatment plans are customized to help patients based on their individual needs. The program may include several sessions a week.
